Polishing knives can compromise their structural integrity and reduce their effectiveness for cutting tasks. Instead, we focus on creating knives that prioritize functionality and performance, ensuring they're ready to tackle any job with ease.
What is the turnaround time for crafting a customized knife?
Our turnaround time for crafting a customized knife can vary depending on the complexity of the design and the current workload. Typically, a series of 12 knives takes a couple of days to complete. The process involves several steps, including cutting, beveling, drilling, quenching, hardening, and baking the blades. Once this process is complete, we then proceed to produce the handles for the knives. Rest assured, we strive to ensure each knife is meticulously crafted to meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
How many years have you been crafting knives?
Craig has been making knives for about 9 years now. Over that time, he has dedicated himself to perfecting the craft, ensuring that each knife he produces meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Where did you pick up the skills to craft knives?
Craig is self-taught in the art of knife making. He has spent countless hours watching YouTube videos and learning from his own mistakes along the way. Through trial and error, he has been able to craft quality knives that he is proud to stand behind.
What warranty do you offer on your knives?
We stand behind our products with a limited lifetime warranty. If there's ever an issue due to production, rest assured that your knife will be replaced at no cost to you. However, it's important to use your knife for its intended purpose – cutting and slicing – and avoid using it as a screwdriver, hammer, pry bar, or for any other tasks it's not designed for. Doing so may void the warranty. Your satisfaction and the longevity of your knife are our top priorities, so please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
