Warranty & Care

We stand behind our products with a limited lifetime warranty. If there’s ever an issue due to production, rest assured that your knife will be replaced at no cost to you. At the same time, a knife is a purpose-built cutting tool—how it’s used matters. The guidelines below exist to protect your edge, your handle, and the long-term life of the knife.

What We Cover

Our limited lifetime warranty is designed to cover production-related issues—problems tied to how the knife was made, assembled, or finished. If something fails due to production, we’ll make it right by replacing the knife at no cost to you.

Production defects: issues that result from manufacturing or assembly.
Fit & finish concerns tied to production: if something isn’t right from the start, tell us.
Structural failures from normal knife use: cutting and slicing as intended.

What Can Void the Warranty

This warranty exists to support real use—but it doesn’t cover damage caused by using the knife as something it’s not. Knives are built for cutting. When they’re forced into prying, striking, twisting, or “toolbox” jobs, the stress goes where it shouldn’t and damage can occur quickly.

Avoid using your knife as:

Screwdriver: twisting and torque can damage the tip and edge alignment.
Hammer: impact can crack handle materials and deform steel.
Pry bar: lateral force can warp the blade or stress pins/handle structure.
Any non-cutting task: if it’s not cutting/slicing, it’s outside intended use.

Please Note: Not Dishwasher Safe

Our knives are NOT dishwasher safe. Dishwashers combine heat, harsh detergents, and prolonged moisture exposure— which can damage handle materials, dull edges faster, and increase the risk of corrosion. Hand wash, dry immediately, and store in a clean, dry place.

FAQ

Quick answers to common warranty and care questions.

What does “limited lifetime warranty” mean?
It means we stand behind the knife for the long haul when it’s used as intended. If there’s an issue due to production, we’ll replace the knife at no cost to you. “Limited” means it doesn’t cover damage caused by misuse or using the knife for tasks it wasn’t designed for.
What counts as a production issue?
A production issue is a problem tied to how the knife was made or assembled—something that fails under normal cutting and slicing use. If you believe the knife has a defect from production, reach out and we’ll help you sort it out.
Will the warranty cover a chipped tip or damaged edge?
Edge damage often comes down to how the knife was used. If the damage happened during normal cutting and you think it’s related to production, contact us with details. If it was caused by prying, twisting, striking, or other non-cutting tasks, it may not be covered.
Can I use my knife as a pry tool “just once”?
That’s exactly the kind of force that can bend tips, stress steel, and crack handle materials. Knives are designed to cut. Using them as pry bars or screwdrivers can void the warranty and shorten the life of the knife.
Why are your knives not dishwasher safe?
Dishwashers combine heat, strong detergents, and long moisture exposure. That mix can dull edges faster, damage handle materials, and increase the risk of corrosion. Hand wash gently, dry immediately, and store dry.
What’s the best basic care routine?
Keep it simple: hand wash, dry immediately, avoid soaking, store dry, and use the knife for cutting/slicing only. If you’re in humid conditions or using the knife heavily, wiping the blade down after use is a good habit.
